The goal of the 2024 Community Study, conducted by the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies at Brandeis University and NORC at the University of Chicago, is to promote an understanding of the community and to inform strategic planning, program development and policymaking in a way that supports and enhances Jewish life. Similar to previous demographic studies, this work captures a moment in time, shedding light on the work we can do today to serve the present needs of our community while we plan our future with intention.
