October 7th Community Commemoration

Jewish Federation of St. Louis invites the community to join in a moving commemoration of October 7, 2023, honoring the victims, survivors, and families impacted by the attacks in Israel.

The evening will open with interactive, immersive experiences for all ages designed to engage, educate, and remember. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- View a short documentary screening.
- Explore a photo exhibit memorial honoring the victims of the Nova Music Festival.
- Participate in PJ Library family-friendly activities, including letter writing and bracelet making.
- Kites for Peace will be given out honoring the memory of the Kutz family and the victims of Kfar Azza.
- Join in a food packing project and receive “A Recipe with a Memory” book.
- Engage in virtual reality testimonials.
In conjunction with the experiences, Danny Cohn, President & CEO of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, will moderate a program featuring special guests who will share their first-hand testimonials.
Light Kosher snacks will be provided. No cost to attend. Pre-registration is mandatory.
The program will be at a convenient location. The exact address will be shared before the event.
For security, no large tote bags or backpacks will be permitted. Only small purses will be allowed into the venue. Security staff will inspect all bags. Guests with prohibited items will be asked to return them to their vehicles. Security reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed disorderly, disruptive, or in non-compliance with our event policies.
